Phrazle is a word-guessing game where the answer is a multi-word phrase — an idiom, title, or saying — instead of a single word. You have six guesses to nail every letter in every word.

Type any letter to fill the next empty slot — the cursor advances across the whole phrase, jumping word boundaries automatically. Press Enter once every slot is filled to submit your guess. Backspace removes the last letter.

Green means the letter is in the correct slot. Yellow means the letter is in the right word but a different slot. Purple means the letter is in the phrase, but in a different word from where you placed it. Gray means the letter is not in the phrase at all.

Because phrases have words. Yellow tells you the letter belongs to this word — try a different slot inside it. Purple tells you the letter belongs to a different word — move it across the gap. Together they cut the search space much faster than Wordle's single 'present' colour.

Six guesses per phrase, same as Wordle. Each guess must fill every letter slot before you can submit.

Recognisable English idioms, sayings, and short titles — "Break the ice", "Piece of cake", "Time will tell". Lengths run from two short words up to about fourteen letters total.

Yes — phrases like "All ears" or "Time will tell" repeat letters freely. The colouring follows the standard Wordle rule: each letter in the phrase only matches one slot in your guess, prioritising green over yellow over purple.

Yes. Every win pulls a fresh phrase from the pool. There's no daily lock and no streak counter — solve as many as you want.

Yes. The on-screen keyboard is finger-sized and the phrase grid wraps long phrases onto a second line so every letter stays readable on a phone screen.
