About the gameHow aa works,
How aa works,
in short.
- Step 01
A spinning wheel.
The wheel rotates at a steady speed. A queue of numbered pins waits to fire toward its centre.
- Step 02
Tap to fire a pin.
Tap or hit space and the next pin shoots upward, sticking wherever it hits the spinning wheel.
- Step 03
Never let pins collide.
Two pins inside the same arc gap means a fail. Time each tap so they distribute evenly around the wheel.
Questions
aa questions, answered.
aa is a one-tap timing puzzle. A circle spins in the centre of the board and you have a fixed queue of numbered pins to attach to it. Each tap fires the next pin, and if two pins land too close together the round ends — the goal is to spread them around the wheel without a single collision.
Tap or click anywhere on the board (or press space) to fire the next pin. It rises from the bottom and sticks to the spot on the circle that's facing down at the moment it arrives. Repeat until every pin in your queue is on the wheel.
Each pin needs a small slice of arc around it. If a new pin lands inside that slice, its needle would touch the previous pin's needle — that's a collision, and the round ends. Pre-placed obstacle pins (the red ones) follow the same rule.
Easy gives you a slow wheel, six pins, and a single obstacle. Medium speeds the wheel up to about 85 degrees per second with nine pins. Hard and Expert add more obstacles, more pins, and a wheel that reverses direction every few seconds — you can't just memorise the rhythm.
Yes. Clear a round and the wheel spins a little faster for the next one. Pin count and obstacle count stay tied to the difficulty you picked, so the curve is in the timing rather than the chaos.
Spacebar or Enter fires a pin, the same as tapping the board. The toolbar above the board has explicit Fire / Restart / New round buttons for accessibility, and the dialog at the end of each round has Retry and Next round controls.
Yes. There is no daily limit, no level lock, and no streak — every round is freshly generated and you can keep playing as long as the wheel keeps spinning.
Yes. The board is a single tap target, the queue at the bottom shows what's coming next, and the layout reflows for narrow screens.
