Solitaire — specifically Klondike Solitaire, the most common variant — is a single-player card game played with a 52-card deck. You build four foundation piles up from Ace to King in each suit. The challenge: the cards you need are buried under face-down cards in seven tableau columns, and you have to expose them by building down in alternating colors.
Click a face-up card to select it. Click a destination pile to move it there. Click a face-down tableau card to flip it (only if it is the top card of its column). Click the stock (top-left) to draw cards into the waste. Double-click any face-up card to auto-move it to a foundation if a legal move exists.
Each tableau column builds down in alternating colors — a red 7 can land on a black 8, but not on a red 8 or a black 7. You can move a single card or a valid alternating-color run. An empty tableau column accepts any King (single card or topping a run).
Each foundation pile builds up by suit, from Ace through King. Aces start a new pile; everything else goes on the matching suit pile in ascending order. You win when all four foundations are complete.
Draw 1 flips one stock card to the waste at a time — easier, since every card becomes accessible. Draw 3 flips three at a time and only the top of the three is playable until you cycle the stock; this is the classic Klondike rule. Toggle between the two via the toolbar — switching shuffles a new deal.
Yes. Undo reverses the most recent move, including drawing cards from the stock and flipping a tableau card. There is no undo limit — you can rewind to the start of the deal if you really want to.
Auto-complete shovels every remaining card to the foundations one at a time. The button enables only once every tableau card is face-up and the stock and waste are empty — at that point the game is effectively won and clicking each card individually would be tedious. Until those conditions are met the button stays disabled.
Your current deal saves to localStorage on every move. Refreshing the page or coming back later picks back up exactly where you left off. The save clears when you win or start a new deal.
Yes. Single-tap selects, second tap moves; double-tap auto-completes to a foundation. The board scales down for phone widths and all seven tableau columns stay visible without horizontal scrolling.
